AGFD Habitat Partnership Committee (HPC) grant #19-302 for $500,000, to kill juniper trees, complete water developments, and install wildlife friendly fence on the Cross Mountain Ranch, Dunton Ranch, Double O Ranch, X-One Ranch, and Crozier Canyon Ranch as part of the Game Management Unit 18A Habitat Enhancement Project. In January 2021 HPC grant #20-302 was approved for another $500,000 for the project, and in March 2022 another $500,000 of HPC funds were approved for the project, which is scheduled to receive a total of $2.5 million in HPC grants during the 5 years it will take to complete.
