Environmental assessment (EA) completed in 2023 for a water well on the BLM Lake Havasu Field Office’s Crowder-Weisser grazing allotment. The well would replace water formerly siphoned from the Central Arizona Project (CAP) canal to water the permittee’s cattle. (On December 31, 2021, CAP terminated its Temporary Water Program, which allowed ranchers to take water from the CAP canal.)
