Memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the permittee of the Buck Springs grazing allotment, the Coconino National Forest, and the Arizona Elk Society (AES), wherein the permittee willingly waived the grazing permit for the allotment back to the Forest Service, February 2009. The AES provided financial compensation to the permittee, who had been cited in May 2000 for failing to comply with the allotment’s grazing plan.
