Hicks-Pikes Peak AOI 2004

Administrative action taken by the Tonto National Forest to authorize grazing on the vacant Hicks-Pikes Peak grazing allotment, December 8, 2003. The action was described as a temporary drought relief measure that transferred cattle to the allotment from the nearby Bar V Bar allotment to allow that allotment to rest. The allotment’s use, however, became permanent. (The Bar V Bar allotment is now the Campaign allotment.)
